We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in mechanical design, 3D modelling, and manufacturing drawings, preferably in hydraulic systems, control valves, actuators, or precision engineering.

The candidate should be proficient in Creo Parametric and AutoCAD and capable of independently developing 3D models, assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D part models and assemblies using Creo Parametric.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Create and review 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Creo.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, material selection, and manufacturing principles.
- Understand hydraulic components, control valves, actuators, and fluid-power systems.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, machining, quality, assembly, and testing teams.
- Handle design modifications, engineering changes, and drawing revisions.
- Ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.





Required Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in Creo Parametric / Pro-E.
- AutoCAD 2D drafting and detailing.
- 3D modelling and assembly design.
- Manufacturing and assembly drawing preparation.
- GD&T;, tolerances, and fits.
- BOM preparation and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, control valves, and fluid-power components.

Preferred Industry Experience

Hydraulics, control valves, actuators, pumps, pressure equipment, defence, aerospace, precision manufacturing, and industrial machinery.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must have practical industrial design experience and the ability to independently handle engineering design assignments. Candidates with only CAD certifications or training without relevant project experience will not be prioritised.

Hyderabad-based candidates comfortable commuting to IDA Patancheru are preferred. Candidates willing to relocate may also apply.
