We are looking for a highly skilled Mainframe Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should possess robust expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related mainframe technologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in complex business environments.

Key Responsibilities.

- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and implement Mainframe applications.
- Develop and maintain online and batch applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure system stability.
- Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and stakeholders.




- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Follow SDLC, Agile, and organizational coding standards.

Required Technical Skills.

- Strong hands-on experience in:
- COBOL
- JCL
- CICS
- DB2
- VSAM

- Experience with Mainframe Utilities:

- File-AID
- Abend-AID
- SORT
- IDCAMS
- SPUFI

- Knowledge of TSO/ISPF and SDSF.
- Experience in batch processing and job scheduling tools.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Exposure to version control and deployment tools such as Endevor or Changeman.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with IMS DB / IMS DC.
- Exposure to Mainframe modernization projects.
- Knowledge of API integration and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or Healthcare domains.
