About the Role

Physics Wallah (PW) is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Manager – DTP to lead Desktop Publishing operations for academic content. The role involves managing a team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of educational materials, streamlining workflows, and delivering content within defined timelines.

The ideal candidate should have strong DTP expertise, leadership capabilities, and experience handling academic documents, mathematical equations, and multilingual content formatting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, train, and mentor DTP Associates and Junior Associates to improve team productivity and performance.
- Manage the end-to-end formatting, designing, and publishing of Tests, Assignments, Daily Practice Problems (DPPs), DHAs, PPTs, and Practice Sheets.
- Ensure accurate Hindi and English typing, typesetting, mathematical equations, symbols, diagrams, and page layouts.
- Review and proofread formatted content to maintain accuracy, consistency, readability, and adherence to quality standards.
- Allocate tasks, monitor team workloads, and ensure timely completion of assignments within defined turnaround times (TAT).
- Coordinate with academic, faculty, content, and other relevant teams to understand requirements and resolve content-related issues.
- Establish and maintain quality-check processes to minimize formatting errors and rework.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and delivery timelines, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and content quality.




- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines and publishing standards.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational challenges related to DTP and academic content production.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Relevant experience in Desktop Publishing (DTP) or Electronic Desktop Publishing (EDP) operations.
- Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW, MathType, MS Office, and Google Sheets.
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
- Valuable understanding of page layout, typesetting, formatting, and academic content preparation.
- Excellent Hindi and English typing skills.
- Ability to identify formatting inconsistencies, grammatical or typographical errors, and layout issues.
- Strong team management, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of PageMaker will be an added advantage.

- Prior experience managing or supervising a DTP team.
- Experience handling academic or educational content, including competitive examination material.
