- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in HT & LT systems.
- Maintain and inspect transformers, breakers, control panels, and switchgear.
- Assist in electrical testing, commissioning, and diagnostics.
- Monitor the performance of electrical equipment and recommend improvements.
- Carry out maintenance of control relays and assist in relay programming/configuration.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and checklists.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments for maintenance activities.
- Support shutdown and emergency maintenance activities as required.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong understanding of electrical maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of HT & LT panels, breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
- Basic knowledge of protection relays and control circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and troubleshooting techniques.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or utility electrical systems will be preferred.
