About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Commodity Technical Research Analyst with 45 years of hands-on experience in technical research and commodity markets. The role involves tracking MCX and NCDEX commodities, generating actionable trading calls, developing technical strategies, and providing real-time market insights to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily and real-time technical analysis across MCX and NCDEX commodity contracts.
- Track MCX Bullion, Energy & Base Metals including Gold, Silver, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Copper, Zinc, Aluminium and Lead.
- Monitor NCDEX Agri-commodities including Spices, Guar Complex, Oilseeds and Grains.
- Apply technical tools and methodologies such as Candlestick Patterns, RSI, MACD, Moving Averages, Fibonacci Retracement and Elliott Wave Theory.
- Analyse price action, volume and Open Interest (OI) to identify trends, market momentum, institutional participation and potential reversals.
- Generate actionable Intraday, BTST/STBT and Positional trading calls with defined entry, target and stop-loss levels.
- Develop commodity options strategies including Bull Call Spreads, Bear Put Spreads and Calendar Spreads.
- Prepare Daily Technical Reports, Weekly Commodity Reports and Techno-Fundamental Research Reports.
- Participate in morning market briefings,



webinars and training sessions for Relationship Managers and active trading clients.
- Provide real-time market insights and query support during trading hours.
- Incorporate relevant fundamental factors such as currency movements, LME trends, inventory data and EIA releases into market analysis.
- Ensure all recommendations follow internal risk management and regulatory compliance guidelines.

Candidate Profile

- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Technical Research, preferably with an established Indian stockbroking firm or commodity research/trading desk.
- Strong understanding of MCX and/or NCDEX commodity markets, particularly Metals, Energy, Bullion and Agri-commodities.
- Expert proficiency in technical analysis and charting platforms such as TradingView, MetaTrader, Falcon, Spider, Bloomberg or Reuters Eikon.
- Strong market knowledge with the ability to interpret price action, volume, OI and technical indicators.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or a related field.

Mandatory Certification

- NISM Series XV – Research Analyst Certification – Mandatory
- NISM Series XVI – Commodity Derivatives Certification – Preferred

Other Requirements

- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain trading views clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, real-time market environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts aligned with extended commodity market hours, including trading sessions up to 11:55 PM.
