Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Deputy Manager Project Finance to manage project-related financial activities, budgeting, cost monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting. The candidate will work closely with project, commercial, procurement, and finance teams to ensure effective financial planning, cost control, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage project budgeting, financial planning, and cost control activities.

- Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and identify variances.

- Prepare financial reports, MIS, cash flow forecasts, and project cost statements.

- Analyse project profitability, margins, and financial performance.

- Coordinate with project managers and internal stakeholders to track project costs and financial commitments.

- Monitor vendor payments, project billing, receivables, and outstanding amounts in coordination with the relevant teams.

- Support preparation of project-wise financial forecasts and periodic financial reviews.

- Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.

- Assist in audits, financial reconciliations, and preparation of supporting documentation.





- Identify financial risks and recommend measures to improve cost efficiency.

- Support management in financial decision-making through data analysis and reporting.

- Ensure timely submission of financial reports and other project-related financial information.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of project finance, budgeting, and cost management.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

- Experience in MIS preparation, financial analysis, and variance analysis.

- Understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and audit processes.

- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage deadlines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, or project-based industries.

- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar financial management software.

- Experience in project costing, cash flow management, and profitability analysis.
