About the role
This role is the analytical engine of the Global Business Development team. You will support the evaluation and execution of in-licensing, acquisition, and partnership opportunities spanning a diverse spectrum of development stages. The role offers direct exposure to live transactions, senior leadership, and external partners from day one, with a clear path to owning deal workstreams as you grow.
Key responsibilities
Conduct market, competitive, and asset analysis for in-licensing and acquisition opportunities
Build high quality opportunity evaluations, management presentations, and deal trackers for senior leadership review
Support commercial and financial analysis underpinning business cases and deal negotiations
¢ Prepare briefing materials for external partner interactions and participate in partner meetings, capturing minutes and driving follow-up actions




¢ Arrange meetings and coordinate schedules across internal stakeholders and external partners
¢ Maintain BD databases, conference planning files, and partner outreach trackers with full accuracy and ownership
¢ Coordinate inputs across portfolio, legal, regulatory, and commercial functions in multiple time zones
What we look for
¢ Bachelor degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or business, with an advanced degree an advantage
¢ 2-5 years of experience in business development, strategy consulting, market research, or a related analytical role in pharmaceuticals or healthcare
¢ Positive pedigree for both education (tier I/II) and work-experience
¢ Excellent written and spoken English with the confidence to operate in external facing settings
¢ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with exceptional attention to detail
¢ Ability to use AI tools to accelerate analytical work without compromising accuracy essential
¢ Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and deliver reliably against deadlines
¢ Curiosity about deal-making and the drive to take on increasing responsibility
¢ Based in Hyderabad or Mumbai with regular in office presence required
