About the Role

ProFyt is building a new generation of great-tasting, clean-label, protein-rich chips and noodles. We are looking for a hands-on Food Technologist & Shop Floor Manager to own technical, quality and production execution across our third-party manufacturing and co-packing partners.

You will be ProFyt's eyes and ears on the factory floorensuring every batch tastes right, meets specifications, delivers the expected yield and leaves the factory on time.

What Youll Own

- Manage day-to-day production and shop-floor operations at third-party manufacturing units
- Ensure strict adherence to recipes, formulations, BOMs, process parameters and product specifications
- Monitor quality, food safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance
- Conduct in-process and finished-product quality checks
- Manage raw material and packaging material availability, inventory and consumption
- Monitor yield, wastage, production efficiency and batch consistency
- Ensure finished goods are released, packed and dispatch-ready as per plan




- Coordinate production schedules, logistics and dispatches with manufacturing partners
- Identify process deviations and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain production, quality, batch and traceability documentation
- Support new product trials, recipe optimisation and scale-up
- Build solid working relationships with co-manufacturers while maintaining ProFyt's quality standards

Were Looking For

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in food manufacturing FMCG
- Strong exposure to shop-floor production and third-party manufacturing
- Experience in snacks, chips, noodles or similar processed foods is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP and food safety systems
- Good knowledge of raw materials, packaging, formulations and process control
- Comfortable working on the factory floor and travelling to manufacturing locations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
- High ownership, attention to detail and a hands-on startup mindset
