Operations & Delivery Manager IT Hardware Manufacturing & Software Projects

ey Responsibilities

1. Factory & IT Hardware Manufacturing

- Manage daily factory operations, production planning and manufacturing activities.
- Supervise assembly, testing and production of Desktop PCs, AIO PCs, Thin Clients, Kiosks, Smart Displays and other IT hardware products.
- Manage PCB/PCBA assembly coordination, component integration, firmware installation and product testing.
- Ensure production targets, product quality and on-time dispatch.
- Monitor manpower utilization, production efficiency and manufacturing costs.
- Implement SOPs, quality checks, 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, quality and engineering teams.

2. Software Project Delivery

- Coordinate with software development teams for timely delivery of web, mobile and enterprise applications.
- Track software project schedules, milestones, deliverables and resource allocation.
- Monitor development, testing, UAT, deployment and customer handover.
- Coordinate between software developers, project managers, QA and customers.
- Ensure timely completion of software projects within approved budgets.
- Manage software-related escalations and delivery challenges.
- Ensure hardware and software integration for customized IT products.

3. Project Execution & Customer Delivery

- Manage complete project execution from purchase order to final customer acceptance.




- Plan hardware production, software readiness, dispatch, installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate multi-location installations and government IT projects.
- Monitor project timelines, manpower deployment and vendor performance.
- Ensure timely completion of FAT, SAT, UAT and customer sign-off.
- Maintain project documentation, delivery reports and installation records.
- Resolve project delays, operational issues and customer escalations.

4. Procurement, Inventory & Quality

- Coordinate material planning, procurement and inventory availability.
- Monitor BOM, stock levels, material shortages and vendor deliveries.
- Ensure quality inspection, product testing and manufacturing compliance.
- Reduce production wastage, rework and operational costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs and contract manufacturers.
- Ensure finished products meet technical specifications and customer requirements.

5. Team Management & MIS Reporting

- Manage production, software delivery, quality, stores and project execution teams.
- Allocate manpower and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct daily production and weekly project review meetings.
- Maintain production MIS, project trackers and delivery dashboards.
- Report operational performance, project risks and delays to management.
- Drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
