Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan for all plant equipment
- Lead a team of electricians and mechanical technicians in executing maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment history
- Plan and manage maintenance budgets including spare parts procurement
- Coordinate with production for planned maintenance shutdowns and downtime management
- Ensure all plant utilities (power, compressed air, HVAC, water) are maintained in good condition
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, equipment certifications, and safety standards
- Implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures
- Manage AMC contracts and vendor service calls for specialized equipment

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 710 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant
- Experience with electrical control panels, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems
- Exposure to CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred
- Solid technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID; diagrams
- Problem-solving skills and RCA methodologies
- Team leadership and coordination skills
- Familiarity with safety standards and permit-to-work systems
