Job Description:

As a Contract Compliance Lead, this role will establish and manage a structured system to track contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements, ensuring all commitments are clearly assigned, proactively monitored, and fulfilled on time. The role will leverage AI tools and AI agents to automate contract analysis, obligation tracking, risk monitoring, follow-ups, and reporting, building a scalable and reliable framework that enhances operational efficiency, visibility, and control.

Role & responsibilities:

- Build and operate a structured contract-compliance system covering obligations, deliverables, milestones, deadlines, renewals, owners, dependencies, and evidence of completion.
- Convert contract language into actionable obligations and maintain a centralized source of truth for status, risk, accountability, and follow-through.
- Monitor commitments end-to-end, manage reminders and stakeholder follow-ups, and escalate overdue, missed, ambiguous, or high-risk obligations.
- Apply AI tools and AI agents to contract analysis, obligation extraction, compliance monitoring, workflow execution, reporting, and follow-up automation.
- Use Ironclad or comparable CLM technology to support obligation tracking, workflow automation, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness.
- Maintain dashboards, alerts, records, supporting documentation,



and audit trails that provide clear visibility into compliance status, upcoming obligations, and risks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance gaps, coordinate corrective actions, and continuously improve contract compliance processes.
- Support ad hoc tasks and other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Preferred candidate profile

- 4-7 years of hands-on experience in contract compliance, contract management, contract operations, or contractual obligation management.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating a structured process or system for tracking contractual obligations, deadlines, renewals, milestones, owners, and evidence.
- Practical experience using AI tools or AI agents for contract analysis, obligation extraction, compliance monitoring, reminders, workflow automation, or reporting.
- Experience with Ironclad or a comparable CLM platform; familiarity with audit trails, compliance reporting, and workflow controls is preferred.
- Robust project and task management skills, including stakeholder coordination, deadline tracking, risk identification, escalation management, and corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with a structured, detail-oriented, and proactive approach.
- Bachelors degree in business, Legal Studies, Management, or a related field is preferred.
