Senior ServiceNow Developer Now Assist, Integrations & Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, enterprise integrations, and Now Assist.

The ideal candidate should be a technically strong developer capable of independently designing, building, and delivering complex ServiceNow solutions. We are particularly interested in candidates with practical experience implementing Now Assist, AI Agents, and intelligent automation in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Now Assist

- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities, custom GenAI skills, and AI-powered workflows.
- Build and customize AI Agents using Now Assist Skill Kit, AI Agent Studio, and AI Agent Orchestrator.
- Develop intelligent automation for incident management, request fulfillment, knowledge management, and employee self-service.
- Integrate ServiceNow AI capabilities with enterprise applications and external AI services.
- Evaluate emerging ServiceNow AI features and implement practical solutions that improve operational efficiency.

ServiceNow Development & Customization

- Design and develop complex ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.
- Build custom scoped applications, workflows, UI Builder experiences, and reusable platform components.
- Develop solutions using Flow Designer, App Engine, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Ensure development follows platform best practices for performance, security, scalability, and upgrade compatibility.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform code reviews, and independently deliver production-ready solutions.

Enterprise Integrations & Automation

- Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Develop bidirectional integrations, event-driven workflows, and automated data synchronization.
- Build integrations with platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID,



Microsoft 365, Azure, Jira, and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and integration monitoring.
- Automate enterprise processes across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, and other ServiceNow applications.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Now Assist, Generative AI, and AI Agent development (Must Have).
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, ServiceNow scripting, and custom application development.
- Extensive experience designing and developing complex enterprise integrations.
- Solid expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, OAuth, and MID Servers.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and at least one additional module such as ITOM, HRSD, SPM, or IRM.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, security, ACLs, data models, and performance optimization.
- Ability to independently own technical solutions from design through deployment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Production experience implementing Now Assist, AI Agent Studio, Now Assist Skill Kit, and AI Agent Orchestrator.
- Experience with Virtual Agent, conversational AI, external LLM integrations, and Azure OpenAI.
- Experience with ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, or AIOps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph APIs, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 automation.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF), CI/CD, and ServiceNow deployment practices.
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or relevant AI certifications.
