- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations, the Factories Act, and internal safety procedures.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, safety audits, and regular plant inspections.
- Monitor work permits and ensure safe execution of maintenance and other plant activities.
- Inspect machinery, lifting tools, and equipment to ensure safe operations.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety awareness sessions and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and documentation.
Desired Profile:
- Relevant experience in EHS / Industrial Safety within a manufacturing environment.
- Diploma or BE in Industrial Safety Management from a government-recognised institute.
- Practical knowledge of factory safety, risk assessment, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Robust communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
