ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON | TRAUMA & ELECTIVE SURGERY | BELAGAVI, KARNATAKA

Join a surgeon-led TraumaCure orthopaedic and trauma unit at a partner hospital in Belagavi. This is a hands-on, patient-facing surgical role focused on trauma and elective orthopaedic care, with dedicated operations, claims and administrative support.

YOUR CLINICAL WORK

- Assess and manage orthopaedic trauma and elective musculoskeletal cases.
- Perform surgery across fracture fixation, joint procedures and other cases within your training and clinical scope.
- Provide pre-operative assessment, post-operative inpatient care, outpatient consultations and follow-up clinics.
- Coordinate case preparation and scheduling with anaesthesia and operating theatre teams.
- Complete timely clinical records, including operative notes, discharge summaries and PM-JAY/insurance documentation.

TEAM COORDINATION

- Communicate implant and instrument requirements ahead of scheduled cases.
- Raise patient-safety observations through the appropriate clinical protocols.
- Join a brief weekly surgical case review, typically under 30 minutes.

WHO YOU ARE

- MS Orthopaedics or DNB Orthopaedics from a recognised institution.
- Registered with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC), or eligible for registration.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification surgical experience.
- Comfortable managing trauma and elective cases independently.
- Confident with implant-based fixation for long-bone and periarticular fractures; foundational spine experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with structured case protocols, clinical documentation and pre-authorisation requirements.
