The Accounts Manager will maintain tight financial controls over raw material inflows (grain/broken rice/maize), chemical and enzyme consumables, boiler fuels (coal/biomass), by-product dispatches (DDGS, CO), and Oil Marketing Company (OMC) / ENA ethanol invoices and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Bookkeeping & Real-Time Accounts Maintenance
* Direct end-to-end day-to-day general ledger (GL) accounting, ensuring zero backlog in journal entries, vouchers, and ledger postings.
* Enforce a strict same-day accounting closure culture for all inbound and outbound transactions, goods receipts, and payment entries.
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across all operational, escrow, and working capital (CC/OD) accounts.
* Monitor petty cash disbursements, imprest balances, and employee advance settlements with thorough voucher verification.

3. Sales Invoicing, OMC Reconciliations & Revenue Recognition
* Supervise the generation and accounting of commercial tax invoices, e-Way bills, and e-Invoices for all dispatches: Ethanol (OMCs/Depots),
Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), Technical Alcohol, Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS), and liquid/gas text{CO}_2.
* Maintain real-time tracking of ethanol supplies against OMC Purchase Orders, managing security deposits, bank guarantees (BG), and performance guarantees.

4. Stores, Inventory Valuation & Cost Accounting
* Partner with the storekeeper and plant technical heads to carry out periodic physical inventory audits of grains in silos, enzymes, yeast, chemicals, boiler fuels, and engineering/maintenance spares.
* Calculate daily and monthly production costs: specific grain consumption per liter of ethanol, enzyme/chemical costs, and fuel costs per metric ton of steam generated.
* Identify, investigate, and report inventory discrepancies, transit leakages, processing shrinkage, and physical vs. book stock variances.
5. Accounts Payable (AP) & Working Capital Management
