Job Title: Education Counsellor Study Abroad

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Education Counsellor to guide students through the study-abroad process, from initial counselling and university applications to offer acceptance, deposit payment and enrolment confirmation.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a target-oriented mindset, and the ability to convert student enquiries into successful applications through consistent follow-ups and effective lead management.

Key Responsibilities

- Contact and follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp and email.
- Understand students' academic profiles, career goals, budgets and preferred study destinations.
- Counsel students on universities, courses, admission requirements, tuition fees and application procedures.
- Recommend suitable study-abroad options for destinations such as the UK, Canada, Australia, the USA and Europe.
- Manage student enquiries and maintain regular follow-ups to improve lead conversion.
- Collect and verify the completeness of student documents before forwarding applications to the Application Team.
- Coordinate with the Application Team to track applications, university offers and pending requirements.
- Follow up with students for offer acceptance, deposit payments and upcoming intake deadlines.
- Maintain accurate student records, call notes, follow-up schedules and application statuses in the CRM.
- Coordinate with the Visa Team for timely handover of eligible student cases.
- Guide students on education loans, scholarships and IELTS requirements,



and refer them to the relevant teams when needed.
- Support student referral activities, webinars and college seminars.
- Maintain professional relationships with students and parents and provide timely updates throughout the admission process.
- Achieve assigned monthly targets for applications, offers, deposits and student conversions.
- Ensure ethical counselling, accurate information and compliance with company procedures.

Skills Required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong student counselling and convincing skills.
- Good follow-up, lead management and sales conversion abilities.
- Knowledge of study-abroad admissions and university application processes.
- Ability to work towards targets and manage multiple student enquiries.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience using CRM software.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may apply.
- Experience in study-abroad counselling, education consultancy, admissions or sales will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of international education destinations and admission procedures is preferred.
