Skills and experience

- 12+ years in enterprise networking; 5+ years as architect or design lead for campus LAN and WLAN.
- Proven delivery of global or multi-region designs (50+ sites or 1,000+ access points).
- Deep knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching and routing: VLANs, STP, VRF, OSPF/BGP, EVPN-VXLAN or campus fabric designs.
- Expert wireless design: 802.11ac/ax/be, RF planning, channel and power design, roaming (802.11r/k/v), high-density and guest designs.
- Network access control and identity: 802.1X, RADIUS, certificate-based authentication, energetic segmentation, posture assessment.
- Resilience design: redundancy, high availability, failure-domain design,



upgrade and rollback planning.
- Experience with at least one major enterprise LAN/Wi-Fi platform (e.g. Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper Mist, Extreme) and ability to assess others objectively.
- Wireless survey and planning tools (e.g. Ekahau, Hamina or equivalent).
- Strong documentation: HLDs, LLDs, standards, decision records and executive-level summaries.
- Stakeholder management with senior technology, security and business leaders.

Certifications

Candidates need at least one expert- or professional-level networking certification plus one wireless design certification; equivalent certifications from any vendor are accepted.
