Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced audit professional with strong hands-on experience in Statutory Audits to manage audit assignments, supervise team members, and ensure the timely delivery of quality audit services.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in statutory audit planning, execution, financial statement verification, audit documentation, and client coordination. Candidates with only general accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting experience without relevant statutory audit exposure are not eligible for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Statutory Audit: Plan and execute statutory audit assignments in accordance with applicable auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Planning and Execution: Assess risk areas, perform audit procedures, verify financial records, and evaluate supporting documentation.
- Financial Statement Review: Examine financial statements, ledgers, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting evidence as part of audit assignments.
- Team Management: Allocate audit work, supervise team members, review deliverables, and provide technical guidance.
- Audit Documentation: Prepare and review audit working papers, maintain audit evidence, and ensure proper documentation.
- Compliance:



Evaluate compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Standards on Auditing, and statutory requirements.
- Client Coordination: Liaise with clients to obtain audit information, resolve queries, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Audit Reporting: Identify discrepancies, communicate audit observations, and contribute to the preparation of audit reports.
- Quality Review: Ensure audit work is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable professional standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Finalist who has completed 3 years of articleship.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant audit experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Statutory Audits is mandatory.
- Experience in supervising team members or managing audit assignments.
- Positive knowledge of Accounting Standards, Standards on Auditing, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in reviewing financial statements and audit working papers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client coordination skills.
