Role Description The Video Editor role at Veellon is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. In this role, the Video Editor will assemble raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, sequencing, and refining content to match creative briefs and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include editing video clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, performing basic color correction, and collaborating with producers, designers, and other team members to meet project deadlines.

Editor will also create simple motion graphics when needed, maintain organized project files, and ensure all deliverables are optimized for various platforms and formats.



This role involves working closely with the creative team to continuously improve visual quality and consistency across all video content.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital and social media content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and professional visual aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, lower-thirds, and visual elements.
- Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong storytelling ability, and the capacity to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Candidates should have good communication skills, the ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment, and strong time management to handle multiple projects.
- A relevant degree, diploma, or certification in film, media, animation, or a related field, along with a portfolio or showreel showcasing video work, will be beneficial.
