Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos for digital campaigns, social media, events, and talent-related content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative briefs. Day-to-day work includes cutting and assembling clips, adding transitions, effects, and sound, performing basic color correction and grading, and collaborating with the creative, talent, and marketing teams to deliver engaging visual stories. The role also involves creating or integrating motion graphics, adapting videos for multiple platforms and formats, managing media assets,



and maintaining organized project files and timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for a variety of formats (short-form, long-form, social media, promotional content).
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency, mood, and overall quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create or integrate titles, lower-thirds, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of pacing, composition, and brand aesthetics.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in agency, media, or digital content environments; a portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video work is required.
- Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience is also valued.
