Role Description The Video Editor at Veellon is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. In this position, the Video Editor will assemble raw footage into polished videos, apply transitions and effects, and ensure pacing and storytelling align with project objectives. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with producers and creatives to understand project briefs, organizing and managing media assets, performing color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements as needed.

Editor will optimize content for different platforms, maintain brand consistency,



and follow established workflows and deadlines. The role also involves providing creative input, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying current with editing trends and tools to continually improve output quality.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in video production and video editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in video color grading and visual refinement to achieve consistent and appealing looks across projects.
- Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to enhance visual storytelling and branding.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of sound design basics, file formats, aspect ratios, and optimization for social media and digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
