Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Chennai.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end video post-production, including assembling raw footage, selecting key shots, synchronising audio, and applying transitions, effects, and titles. Daily responsibilities include colour correction and grading, basic motion graphics, integrating graphic elements, and ensuring visual consistency across projects. The role involves collaborating with directors, content creators, and other team members to understand project objectives, refine storylines, and deliver final videos in required formats and resolutions.

Editor will also maintain organised project files, manage media assets,



and adhere to production timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling different formats and platforms.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a must.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Colour Grading to achieve consistent tone, mood, and visual style across projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animated elements.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, sound, and composition are important.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate effectively with a creative team, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, or visual communication is an advantage; prior portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing work is highly preferred.
- Relevant experience in video production is also an great advantage and would be highly preferred.
