CoreShield Technologies is hiring! We are on a mission to engineer high-reliability Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Located at the Research & Innovation Park, IIT Delhi, our team works at the intersection of hardware engineering, flight autonomy, and mission-critical hardware deployment.

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Junior UAV Hardware Integration Engineer passionate about multirotor assembly, flight controller tuning, and platform hardware readiness. You will be directly responsible for component evaluation, bench setup, wiring harness design, flight tuning, and field test validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Component Evaluation & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and procure UAV components from established suppliers and manufacturers.
- BoM Management: Maintain accurate BoMs covering frames, BLDC motors, propellers, ESCs, flight controllers, GPS/compass, batteries, RC/telemetry systems, cameras, and sensors.
- Physical Assembly & Harnessing: Perform precision soldering, crimping, wiring harness layout, power distribution, mechanical fitting, and vibration-isolated mounting.
- Flight Controller & Avionics Setup: Configure flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, Matek, MicroAir) along with GPS, RC systems, telemetry links, and battery monitors.
- Calculations & Sizing: Conduct motor-propeller-battery sizing, thrust/payload calculations,



center-of-gravity (CoG) balancing, and endurance estimation.
- Flight Validation: Tune and validate core flight modes (Stabilization, GPS Hold, Waypoints, Return-to-Launch) and configure fail-safes.
- Testing & Hardware Maintenance: Perform bench testing, controlled flight tests, fault troubleshooting, post-flight inspections, and hardware repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain wiring diagrams, build logs, configuration sheets, flight logs, and vendor documentation.
- Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with Software and AI teams to integrate cameras, companion computers, communication modules, and specialized sensors.

Qualifications & Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience (or robust fresh graduates with demonstrable project experience building and tuning UAVs/multirotors).
- Hardware Fundamentals: Clear working knowledge of BLDC motors, ESCs, propellers, LiPo/Li-ion battery packs, flight controllers, GPS/compass, and RC/telemetry protocols.
- Lab Skills: Hands-on proficiency with soldering stations, multimeters, crimping tools, and basic mechanical fabrication.
- Bonus Points: Experience with ArduPilot/PX4, Mission Planner, QGroundControl, ExpressLRS (ELRS), CAD/3D printing, or UAV flight log analysis.
