Job Title: Test Engineer

The Test Engineer at Starlink will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests for our satellite communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance. Your primary focus will be on developing testing strategies, conducting tests, and analyzing results to support the development of high-quality products. You will also participate in troubleshooting and debugging of hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for satellite communication systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test requirements and ensure product functionality meets specifications.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on performance, reliability, and overall product quality.
- Identify and document defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
- Automate test processes where possible to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on product design from a testing perspective.
- Support the continuous improvement of testing practices and tools.





Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in software and hardware testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of satellite communication technologies and systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
