ABOUT THIS ROLE

You are the rapid innovation engine of the Platform Architecture organization. When a new platform capability, technology direction, or architectural approach is proposed, you are the person who turns concepts into working proof. Your mission is to validate ideas against real product behavior?not theoretical designs, slideware, or architecture diagrams.

This role sits at the intersection of architecture and engineering. You build end-to-end prototypes, validate assumptions, test integration patterns, and create demo-ready experiences that help leadership make informed platform decisions. You work across backend services, APIs, data models, frontend experiences, infrastructure, and deployment automation.

You have experience building unified product experiences where multiple applications or services behave as a single platform. You understand the practical challenges of integration, shared data models, modular architectures, and delivering seamless user experiences across product boundaries.

This is a hands-on engineering role for builders. Speed, adaptability, technical curiosity, and execution matter more than polished production engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Architecture Validation & Prototyping

- Build working proof-of-concepts that validate architectural decisions against real product scenarios.
- Convert platform architecture concepts into executable demonstrations and technical evidence.
- Test integration approaches before they enter production roadmaps.




- Validate scalability, usability, and implementation feasibility of proposed platform initiatives.
- Provide feedback to architects based on prototype outcomes and real-world behaviour.

Unified Platform Experience Engineering

- Prototype shared platform capabilities across multiple products and services.
- Design and validate shared data models spanning multiple platform modules.
- Demonstrate how common entities, workflows, and experiences function across the unified platform.
- Build reference implementations that highlight seamless cross-module interactions.
- Validate platform consistency and user experience integration patterns.

Full-Stack Innovation Development

- Develop backend APIs, services, and integrations using modern application frameworks.
- Build frontend experiences that demonstrate end-to-end platform workflows.
- Create prototypes spanning application, data, and infrastructure layers.
- Rapidly evaluate and implement new frameworks, libraries, and technologies.
- Extend and enhance existing codebases to support proof-of-concept initiatives.

Platform Automation & Enablement

- Build self-service deployment automation for prototype and demonstration environments.
- Implement toggle-based module enablement capabilities within unified platform demonstrations.
- Create reusable tooling that accelerates future proof-of-concept development.
- Automate environment provisioning and deployment workflows.
- Support modular deployment models and platform experimentation initiatives.

Technology Evaluation & Demonstrations

- Conduct rapid technical spikes to evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks.
- Document findings, recommendations, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Maintain living prototype environments aligned with current architectural direction.
- Produce executive-ready and customer-facing demonstrations.
- Create tangible proof points that influence platform strategy and product decisions.

MUST HAVE





- Built working prototypes or proof-of-concepts that directly influenced product or platform architecture decisions.
- Strong full-stack engineering expertise across Python or Node.js backend development, API design, frontend development, and deployment infrastructure.
- Experience building or contributing to a unified product experience where multiple services functioned as a cohesive platform.
- Demonstrated ability to progress from concept to working prototype within days rather than weeks.
- Comfortable navigating, understanding, and extending unfamiliar codebases independently.
- Minimum 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Minimum 1+ year building technical prototypes, innovation labs, proof-of-concepts, or platform validation solutions.
- Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes-based environments.

VALUABLE TO HAVE

- Helm chart development and templating for modular Kubernetes deployments
- Event-driven architecture experience using Kafka or equivalent platforms.
- Developer platform engineering and internal developer tooling experience.
- CLI development, scaffolding frameworks, and developer productivity tooling.
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies in startup or innovation-focused environments.
- Multi-cloud platform development experience.
- Understanding of platform modernization and SaaS architecture patterns
