Technical Lead (Application Development)

Overview: Lead the hands-on engineering of secure, scalable digital learning platforms for students and faculty.

Responsibilities

Engineering & Architecture: Code core components and design enterprise app architectures.

Full-Stack & APIs: Build backends, modern UIs, databases, integrations, and automated workflows.

AI Integration: Embed LLM APIs, semantic search, and AI-driven features into learning tools.

Quality & Leadership: Direct CI/CD, performance tuning, code reviews, and mentor developers.

Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of hands-on software development with technical leadership experience.

Stack: Python, Java, C#/.NET, or Node.js | JS/TS & contemporary web frameworks | SQL & APIs.

Domain: Enterprise software, AI/LLM integrations, and modern app security/performance practices.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Technical Lead (Systems)

Overview: Manage the technical architecture, deployment,



and 24x7 operations of Linux-based enterprise digital learning platforms for thousands of students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities

Production & High Availability: Ensure 24x7 operational reliability, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery.

Upgrades & Database Management: Direct major LMS platform migrations and manage PostgreSQL databases (replication, tuning, backup).

Architecture & Security: Evolve multi-tier hosting environments, strengthen platform security, and implement monitoring and automation.

Technical Leadership: Coordinate cross-functionally with infrastructure/application teams and mentor system operations staff.

Required Expertise

Experience: 8+ years in enterprise application hosting, Linux systems, and production platform operations.

Technical Stack: Linux web environments | PostgreSQL administration | Scripting/Automation | Web servers & reverse proxies.

Preferred Tech: Ruby on Rails, Redis, Nginx, HAProxy, and enterprise LMS platforms.

Work Location: Amrita Online - Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kollam, Kerala.

Experience: 8+ years
