Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in PHP, Python, and AWS to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will guide a high-performing engineering team, enforce best practices, and drive technical excellence across projects. Insurance domain knowledge is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect, design, and oversee the development of full-stack applications using PHP and Python.
2. Define scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
3. Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
4. Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
5. Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
6.



Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend, frontend, and cloud environments.
7. Drive CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker) for efficient delivery.
8. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or architectural role.
3. Strong hands-on experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
4. Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation).
5. Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Git.
7. Solid understanding of serverless architecture and microservices design.
8. Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform).
9. Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
10. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
11. Insurance domain experience is highly preferred.
