Role Description The Technical Lead Mechanical Engineer will oversee the design and development of mechanical systems and products, guiding projects from concept through detailed design, prototyping, and handover to manufacturing. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves leading engineering teams, reviewing and validating designs, and ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing and reviewing CAD modeling and detailing, conducting design calculations and simulations, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders,



and resolving technical issues during prototyping and production.

The Technical

Lead will manage project schedules and deliverables, provide technical mentorship, support R&D; initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to lead complex product development efforts.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows for 3D modeling, detailing, and design validation.
- Experience in Project Management, including planning, resource coordination, risk management, and on-time delivery of engineering projects.
- Background in Research and Development (R&D;), including innovation, prototyping, testing, and design optimization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in any of the company’s focus industries (electro-mechanical products, sheet metal, jigs/fixtures, medical devices, semiconductor equipment) is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards and drawings, perform tolerance analysis, and collaborate effectively with manufacturing and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, transparent technical communication, and capability to mentor and guide engineering team members.
