The Team Member - Mechanical will play a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of mechanical systems and infrastructure at the Mundra Airport, a key asset within Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ).
This role is pivotal in supporting and leveraging advanced mechanical systems and technologies to meet the strategic goals of operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities of Role
Design and Development: Responsible for the design, implementation, and management of mechanical projects related to airport structures, such as terminal buildings Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and contractors, to ensure projects meet specifications and timelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as airport-specific requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical design software, HVAC system design, and knowledge of international airport design standards.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of mechanical processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending innovative solutions.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards during all mechanical operations to maintain a protected working environment.
Assist in the evaluation and procurement of mechanical components and spare parts, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Provide technical support during emergency breakdowns to restore operations promptly.
Technical Competencies
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems,Familiarity with industry standards and best practices,Knowledge of automation technologies and their application,Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and operations, preferably in port or logistics infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in handling and maintaining heavy machinery and cargo-handling equipment.
Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Advanced certifications in mechanical systems or maintenance management are preferred.
