Position Details

Job Title: Sr. Principal DSP Engineer – Platforming

Location: Framingham, MA

Experience: 15+ years

Work Arrangement: Onsite as needed for engineering collaboration, hardware bring-up, and lab debugging

Required Skills & Experience

- 15–20+ years of experience in DSP and embedded software development.
- Strong expertise in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and real-time embedded systems.
- Expert-level C/C++ programming skills.
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink experience.
- Hands-on experience with fixed-point and floating-point DSP implementations.
- Experience translating research algorithms into production-ready DSP components.
- DSP optimization for architectures such as Tensilica HiFi, ARM Neon/Helium, RISC-V vector extensions, or x64 SIMD.
- Experience with hardware bring-up, lab debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
- Proven technical leadership, mentoring,



and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead DSP architecture, implementation, integration, and optimization across multiple platforms.
- Develop and optimize production-quality C/C++ implementations for embedded DSP targets.
- Resolve complex performance, memory, numerical precision, and real-time processing challenges.
- Guide design reviews, validation, testing, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, systems, QA, and algorithm teams to drive production integration.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to provide technical direction to distributed engineering teams.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
