Key Responsibilities

Production Planning &

- Scheduling

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and customer requirements.

- Develop and monitor production schedules for sheet metal components, fabricated parts, and inverter-related assemblies.

- Ensure optimum machine loading and capacity utilization across manufacturing processes such as CNC punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, and assembly.

- Coordinate with production teams to achieve on-time delivery and adherence to production schedules.

Material Planning &
- Inventory Control

- Generate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, and consumables.

- Monitor inventory levels of sheet metal, hardware, electrical components, and WIP inventory.

- Maintain optimum stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and shortages.

- Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing and follow-up of critical materials.

Production Monitoring &
- Control

- Track daily production performance against plan and identify deviations.

- Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, rejection rates, and delivery performance.

- Prepare recovery plans for production shortfalls and material shortages.

- Ensure smooth workflow from raw material receipt to finished goods dispatch.

Coordination &
- Cross-Functional Management

- Liaise with Engineering, R&D;, Tool Room, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Production departments.

- Support new component development activities by ensuring availability of materials and production resources.

- Coordinate with vendors for outsourced operations and schedule adherence.

- Facilitate smooth implementation of Engineering Change Notes (ECNs)



and BOM revisions.

MIS &
- Reporting

- Prepare daily production reports, inventory reports, shortage reports, and plan-versus-actual analyses.

- Maintain production data in ERP/MRP systems.

- Generate KPI dashboards related to productivity, OTIF, inventory turnover, and schedule adherence.

- Present production planning status and bottlenecks to management.

Continuous Improvement

- Participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and productivity improvement initiatives.

- Drive inventory reduction and process optimization projects.

- Identify opportunities for improving planning accuracy and production efficiency.
