The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with deep domain expertise in the real estate and construction sectors. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of project job costing, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and financial finalization across our active development sites.

Working closely with executive leadership, site engineers, and project managers, you will serve as the financial anchor ensuring timely reconciliation, cost control, and regulatory adherence.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Accounting & Site Costing

- Oversee site-level accounting, contractor/subcontractor Running Account (RA) bills, work-order reconciliations, and retention money tracking.++
- Conduct material consumption reconciliations and track actual vs. budgeted project costs across all construction phases.
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project banking operations.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure strict adherence to real estate statutory frameworks, including GST (composition schemes, rate applicability, and reverse charge mechanisms) and Income Tax (TDS on contractor payments under Section 194C, 194J, and property transactions under 194-IA).
- Oversee timely preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly returns,



advance tax computations, and challan payments.
- Assist with RERA bank account compliance, fund allocation, and architect/engineer CA certification workflows.

Financial Reporting & Audit

- Finalize books of accounts, ledger scrutinies, and monthly trial balances.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports detailing site-wise expenditure, cash flow projections, and liquidity forecasts.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, liaising directly with external auditors and consultants.

Qualifications & Competencies
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or CMA.
- Experience: 9–10 years or plus of hands-on accounting experience, with mandatory exposure to real estate or civil construction firms.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in TallyPrime / Tally ERP 9, MS Excel (advanced lookup formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling), and industry-standard ERP platforms.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of construction job costing, GST regulations specific to real estate, TDS compliances, and finalization up to balance sheet presentation.
- Soft Skills: High professional integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional site and administrative teams.
