About Us

Vervana Services Private Limited is a DPIIT-recognized agri-supply company based in Delhi-NCR. We work across farm-gate sourcing and the supply of agri-commodities and fresh produce, serving quick-commerce platforms and HoReCa buyers. We are building a hands-on sourcing team that owns the full flow from buying at the mandi to on-time delivery at the customer's fulfilment centre.

Role Overview

We are looking for a fresh-produce sourcing and procurement professional who can support daily buying at Azadpur Mandi, manage vendors and rates, and keep supply moving to our quick-commerce and HoReCa customers. This is a field-first role: you will be at the mandi every morning, on the phone with vendors and transporters, and present during dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure fresh fruits and vegetables from Azadpur Mandi and farm sources against daily demand and indents
- Develop and manage mandi and farm vendor relationships; negotiate purchase rates and quality terms
- Conduct pre-dispatch and inward quality checks; control wastage and rejection losses




- Plan dispatches from the mandi to customer fulfilment centres; coordinate transporters and warehouse teams for on-time delivery
- Manage inward/outward operations, stock availability and inventory accuracy
- Prepare daily MIS, costing and market-rate comparison reports in MS Excel
- Track mandi prices and seasonal supply trends; share market intelligence with the team
- Resolve vendor and operational issues to keep supply uninterrupted

What We Are Looking For

- 1+ years of hands-on experience in fresh fruits and vegetables sourcing/procurement from mandis and/or farms
- Working knowledge of Azadpur Mandi or comparable wholesale markets, seasonal cycles and quality parameters
- Exposure to vendor development, rate negotiation and dispatch/vehicle planning
- Familiarity with quick-commerce or modern retail supply requirements (POs, GRNs, quality specs) is a strong plus
- Working MS Excel and MIS reporting skills
- Willingness to work mandi hours (early morning starts) and be on the ground daily
- Graduate in any discipline
