Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect – Transportation to design and implement scalable transportation and logistics solutions using SAP S/4HANA and SAP Transportation Management.

The role involves solution architecture, system integration, process optimization, and collaboration with business and IT teams to deliver efficient transportation management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and oversee SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
- Lead solution design, functional workshops, blueprint reviews, configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Integrate SAP TM with SAP SD, Logistics Execution, Procurement, Manufacturing, Master Data, and other enterprise systems.
- Manage the TM solution lifecycle, including performance, supportability, enhancements, and sustainability.
- Own the Transportation Management WRICEF inventory (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
- Review functional specifications, support integrations, and coordinate with implementation partners.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, evaluate emerging technologies,



and drive transportation technology roadmaps.
- Assess solution feasibility, implementation risks, integration requirements, and technical dependencies.
- Maintain solution architecture documentation and ensure quality standards across implementations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and IT solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM 9.0 or higher).
- 5+ years of experience with SAP Logistics Execution and SAP Sales & Distribution (SD).
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management solution design and implementation.
- Experience in SAP integration, functional specifications, configuration, testing, and master data management.
- Solid understanding of transportation, logistics execution, and enterprise integration processes.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical and functional solutions.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP TM implementations, upgrades, and transformation projects.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with Procurement, Manufacturing, and other supply chain functions.
- Experience managing implementation partners, technical assessments, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
