Role Description The Social Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons for middle school students, ensuring that Social Studies concepts are taught in an accessible and inspiring way.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing curriculum materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support learning. The teacher will create a classroom environment that promotes discussion, inquiry, and respect for diverse perspectives, while integrating real-world examples into the curriculum. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai,



requiring collaboration with colleagues, participation in school activities, and regular communication with guardians and school leadership.

Qualifications

- Experience teaching Middle School learners with a strong focus on Social Studies content.
- Skills in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning to design structured, learner-centered instruction.
- Strong Communication skills for transparent classroom instruction, student guidance, and collaboration with staff and families.
- Relevant academic background in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or diploma is an advantage.
- Ability to use formative and summative assessments effectively and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning needs.
