Role: Snowflake Data Engineer / AI Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer / AI Engineer to build and support modern Snowflake data pipelines and AI-enabled solutions. This role is best suited for someone with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake engineering and practical enterprise AI use cases, especially around LLM-enabled workflows and document data extraction.

This is a hybrid role focused on:

- Snowflake AI functions and Snowflake-native AI capabilities
- Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and pipeline orchestration
- Data pipeline design, development, troubleshooting, and operational support
- Effective prompt design for LLM-driven workflows
- Evaluation of LLM quality and performance
- Document extraction from scanned, semi-structured, or business documents

Top Priority Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Snowflake AI functions / Snowflake-native AI capabilities
- Experience using Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and orchestration tools
- Strong background in data pipeline design, development, troubleshooting, and support
- Experience writing effective prompts for LLM-based solutions
- Experience evaluating LLM performance, including output quality, consistency, groundedness, latency, and cost
- Experience building or supporting document extraction / intelligent document processing solutions
- Robust SQL skills
- Experience designing batch and near-real-time data workflows

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Snowflake




- Develop and support ingestion and transformation workflows using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and orchestration frameworks
- Troubleshoot pipeline performance, failures, latency issues, and data quality problems
- Build AI-enabled workflows using Snowflake AI capabilities and LLM-based patterns
- Create and refine prompts for extraction, summarization, classification, and retrieval-based use cases
- Define and apply methods to evaluate LLM performance in production
- Design document processing workflows for extracting structured data from PDFs, scanned files, forms, invoices, or similar business documents
- Implement validation, confidence scoring, exception handling, and human review where needed
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver reliable, governed, and cost-conscious solutions

Required Experience

- Experience in Snowflake data engineering
- Experience with Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and related Snowflake pipeline patterns
- Experience with pipeline orchestration
- Experience troubleshooting slow, unreliable, or failing data pipelines
- Experience with LLM prompts and AI workflow design
- Experience evaluating LLM or AI solution quality
- Experience with document extraction, OCR-supported workflows, or intelligent document processing
- Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals
