Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day civil site activities, including excavation, foundation, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing and finishing works.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, and ensure execution matches them.
- Prepare and track daily and weekly work schedules, and report progress against the project timeline.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, MEP teams, interior teams and consultants for smooth, sequenced execution.
- Monitor material quality, quantity and usage, and raise material requirements in time.
- Conduct measurements and verify contractor bills and work certifications (RA bills).
- Maintain site records: daily progress reports, material registers, labour attendance and quality checklists.
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory requirements and local authority regulations.
- Identify site issues, delays and cost overruns early, and escalate with proposed solutions.
- Handle snagging and rectification, and ensure timely handover on completion.




- Support post-completion civil maintenance and repair work at the showroom as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience may be considered).
- 2–5 years of site execution experience, preferably in commercial, retail or showroom construction.
- Experience in interior fit-out or large-format retail projects is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and quality standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word); basic estimation and quantity-surveying skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and labour teams effectively.
- Good communication in Tamil and English.
- Problem-solving ability, time management and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in office and to travel between project locations when required.
