Senior Test Engineer – FinOps

NEXUS AIDC is looking for a hands-on Senior Test Engineer to test our FinOps platform. The role requires a combination of strong software testing experience, understanding of DevOps/cloud infrastructure and knowledge of cloud financial management and cost optimization.

Key Requirements

- Own functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing of FinOps features.
- Validate cloud/infrastructure cost collection, allocation, chargeback/showback, budgeting, forecasting and optimization recommendations.
- Test cost and usage data across cloud, Kubernetes, compute, storage, network and other infrastructure resources.
- Validate financial calculations, pricing models, cost trends, savings recommendations and reporting accuracy.
- Design and automate API, UI, and data validation tests as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with Product, DevOps and Engineering teams to identify product, data, and cost-calculation issues.

Required Skills





- 3+ years of software testing/QA experience, preferably with DevOps, cloud or FinOps products.
- Positive understanding of FinOps, cloud cost management, cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP pricing/billing, along with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Strong API, UI, database, integration and data-validation testing skills.
- Experience with test automation using tools such as Playwright, pytest, Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with particular attention to financial and numerical accuracy.

Preferred: FinOps Practitioner certification or prior experience testing cloud cost management, billing, observability, infrastructure management or FinOps products. Cloud FinOps testing experience is must
