Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce CPQ & Lightning

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and drive the design and delivery of robust Salesforce solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Lightning, and multiple Salesforce clouds to build scalable features that enhance our customer and sales operations. You will work with a talented group of professionals in a cooperative, fast-paced environment where innovation and quality are paramount.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform with a focus on CPQ and Lightning components
2. Customize and configure Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related products to meet business requirements
3. Lead technical discussions, translate functional requirements into technical specifications, and create detailed solution designs
4. Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and third-party integrations
5. Ensure code quality through regular code reviews, unit tests, and adherence to best practices and security standards
6. Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features on schedule
7. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce implementations for performance and scalability
8. Document technical solutions, maintain system configurations, and create user training materials as needed
9. Mentor and guide junior engineers,

Requirements:

1. 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce development
2. Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ configuration, customization, and pricing rules
3. Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Visualforce
4. Proven background working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
5. Strong understanding of software design patterns, integration patterns, and REST/SOAP APIs
6. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices
7. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have:

1. Salesforce certifications such as CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer I/II, or Application Architect
2. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
3. Knowledge of Steelbrick CPQ and related quote-to-cash solutions
4. Familiarity with Heroku, MuleSoft, or other integration platforms
5. Background in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or enterprise CRM transformation projects
6. Strong mentoring or technical leadership experience in distributed teams
