QA Manaul - Hardware

Roles & Responsibilities

- Execute manual test plans across EVT, DVT, and PVT covering optics, camera, sensors, battery, and connectivity
- Validate Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, AR display, touch inputs, and QR scan across real-world conditions
- Functionally test on-device AI features — object detection, wake-word, live translation, health monitoring
- Log and track defects in JIRA, coordinate resolution with firmware and hardware teams
- Execute drop, thermal, IP rating, and durability tests per defined protocols
- Collaborate with EMS partners to validate production samples and enforce AQL at factory

Requirements

- 2–5 years of hardware QA experience in consumer electronics, wearables, IoT, or audio devices
- Familiarity with EVT, DVT, PVT stages and NPI go/no-go criteria
- Solid understanding of Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi connectivity testing
- Experience with JIRA or TestRail
- Knowledge of drop, thermal, and IP rating standards is a plus

QA Automation (Python)

Roles & Responsibilities





- Build and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks for JioFrames AI — APIs, AI features, and companion app
- Write automated test cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios across AR overlays, QR payments, and voice commands
- Automate REST and WebSocket API validation using pytest, requests, and httpx
- Validate on-device AI model outputs — object detection accuracy, OCR reliability, intent classification
- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to enforce quality gates on every build
- Build test dashboards and failure triage reports for transparent quality signals after every run

Requirements

- 2–5 years of QA automation experience with strong Python skills
- Hands-on experience with pytest, unittest, requests, and httpx
- Experience testing REST APIs, WebSocket services, and mobile app backends
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools — GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts sufficient to validate model outputs
- Experience with Locust, k6, or JMeter is a plus
