Role Description The Senior Project Manager will lead end-to-end execution of engineering and R&D; projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, quality, and budget. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune City and involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams working on AI, robotics, automation, and embedded systems solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project plans, aligning stakeholders, managing risks, and overseeing expediting, inspection, and logistics activities related to hardware, components, and prototypes.

Manager will facilitate technical and non-technical communication, track progress through project management tools, and prepare regular status reports for leadership and partners. The role also includes process improvement, resource planning, and supporting the transition of prototypes into commercial-ready products.

Qualifications

- Strong project leadership and coordination skills, including Project Management and experience overseeing complex engineering or R&D; initiatives.
- Expertise in Expediting and Expeditor responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, components, and services for ongoing projects.
- Experience with Inspection processes, quality checks, and compliance standards for hardware, prototypes, and integrated systems.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management, including planning, tracking, and optimizing movement and storage of project-related materials.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field; PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams in AI, robotics, automation, or similar deep-tech environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities, with structured documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, research, and operations functions.
- Comfort working on-site in Pune City and engaging in hands-on project oversight within labs, workshops, and production environments.
