The Senior Lecturer will play a key role in facilitating the college's vision and mission by providing high-quality education and training to students in the field of Bachelor of Dental Surgery. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and a passion for advancing the field of dental surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and guide students in clinical and laboratory settings
- Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and workshops
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes
- Engage in research and scholarly activities to advance the field of dental surgery
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities
- Provide academic and professional advice to students and contribute to their personal and professional development
- Collaborate with other faculty members and stakeholders to enhance the quality of education and training provided by the college.
Qualifications:
- A Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree in Prosthodontics or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the field of dental surgery at a recognized institution
- Experience in research and scholarly activities related to the field of dental surgery
- Robust communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders
- Familiarity with dental software for patient management and record-keeping
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and a passion for advancing the field of dental surgery.
