Senior Java Developer

Join our dynamic Marketing department as a Senior Java Developer and play a pivotal role in building high-performance, scalable applications that power our data-driven campaigns and customer engagement platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage cutting-edge Java technologies, and help shape the technical direction of marketing initiatives for a fast-growing, innovation-focused company.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications that support marketing automation, analytics, and customer engagement tools.
2. Collaborate with product managers, marketers, UI/UX designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through code reviews, refactoring, and performance tuning.
4. Integrate third-party APIs and data sources to enhance marketing capabilities and customer insights.
5. Implement and enforce best practices in software development, coding standards, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
6. Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless user experience.
8. Stay current with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive ongoing innovation within the Marketing department.

Requirements:





1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3–10 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a proven track record of delivering complex applications.
3. Strong proficiency in core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and RESTful API design.
4. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
5. Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and best coding practices.
6. Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems, and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
8. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience in marketing technology (MarTech) platforms, CRM systems, or digital advertising solutions.
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
3. Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
4. Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular) for full-stack development.
5. Certification in Java (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Developer, etc.).
