Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end interior design projects, from concept development to final execution, for residential and other interior spaces. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai includes meeting clients to understand requirements, developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E.; The role involves space planning, creating and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget.

and ensure that all projects align with Bizzoppo Interiors’ quality and aesthetic guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Interior Design and FF&E;, including concept development, material selection, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment specification.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, circulation, and aesthetics in residential and other interior environments.
- Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals to collaborate effectively with architects and understand structural and design constraints.
- Ability to create, interpret, and review detailed Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably in residential or similar project types.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong client communication, presentation, and project management skills, with the ability to lead projects independently.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
