- Consolidation Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/INDAS) and proven experience with complex consolidation techniques to oversee the process from start to finish.
- Execute month-end closing activities related to intercompany elimination entries, adjusting journal entries for eliminations/errors resolution.
- Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements along with supporting schedules accurately reflecting group performance.
- Technical Competence: Leverage knowledge of enterprise-level software systems such as SAP/BI Tools or other similar tools used for consolidating large volumes of data efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams during system upgrades/enhancements relating specifically to the consolidation module/systems integration initiatives.

3.Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Conduct detailed variance analyses between actual results versus budget/forecast figures; investigate significant variations providing insights/recommendations where necessary
- Assist Management by preparing timely ad-hoc reports/presentations that help improve decision-making regarding company-wide strategies/initiatives.

4.Process Improvement Initiatives :

Identify opportunities for streamlining existing processes/procedures associated specifically with the financial consolidation function.

5.Cross-functional Collaboration :

Actively partner/collaborate effectively among various internal stakeholders including regional controllership teams, FP&A; teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting & adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (master’s preferred)
- Professional certification such as CA




- 5+ years of experience working with consolidations within a multinational organization.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/INDAS) specifically related to consolidation processes
- Proficiency in using enterprise-level software systems like SAP for data consolidation
