Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.

- Build scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration solutions using Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and Spark.

- Develop and optimize Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake-based data architectures.

- Implement ETL/ELT frameworks to support enterprise analytics and reporting requirements.

- Create and maintain semantic models, datasets, and reporting layers for Power BI consumption.

- Perform data modeling, data quality checks, and performance tuning of pipelines and queries.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Data Scientists, and BI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Implement security, governance, and data access controls across Fabric workspaces.

- Support CI/CD, version control, automated deployments, and DataOps best practices.

- Monitor and troubleshoot production workloads, ensuring platform reliability and performance.

- Participate in Fabric migration and modernization initiatives from legacy data platforms.





- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices and standards

Ideal Candidate

- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering.

- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud-based data platforms.

- Solid experience with:

- Microsoft Fabric

- OneLake

- Lakehouse Architecture

- Data Factory Pipelines

- Dataflows Gen2

- Power BI

- Fabric Warehouse

- Spark / PySpark

- SQL & Python

- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Medallion Architecture.

- Experience designing dimensional models and enterprise data warehouses.

- Proficiency in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and data quality management.

- Experience with Azure ecosystem including ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse, and Azure DevOps.

- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, DataOps, and Agile delivery methodologies.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Fabric migration and modernization experience will be a strong advantage.

Preferred Certifications

- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
