We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Draftsman / 3D Visualizer to support architectural and interior projects through accurate technical drawings and high-fidelity 3D renderings. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical construction documentation and high-end visualization, ensuring design intent is communicated clearly to both clients and contractors.
Responsibilities
- 2D Documentation: Prepare and manage comprehensive 2D drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD.
- Technical Detailing: Produce precise shop drawings, joinery details, interior fit-out sets, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
- 3D Modeling & Rendering: Create high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings using 3ds Max (with V-Ray or Corona) to visualize architectural and interior concepts.
- Design Interpretation: Convert conceptual sketches and architectural briefs into fully coordinated technical drawings and 3D environments.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and site teams to resolve drawing inconsistencies and ensure technical feasibility.
Requirements
- Experience:
5–7 years of professional experience in drafting and 3D visualization within the architecture or interior design industry.
- Software Proficiency:
- AutoCAD: Expert-level knowledge of layers, Xrefs, dynamic blocks, and plotting standards.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methods, material properties, and joinery/fit-out detailing standards.
- Visualization Skills: An eye for composition, lighting, and detail to produce "client-ready" visual outputs.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating a mix of technical shop drawings and high-end 3D interior/exterior renders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy in both 2D and 3D outputs.
