As the Senior BigFix L3 Engineer / Architect, you will be the primary SME responsible for the global architecture, health, and automation of our HCL BigFix platform managing endpoints across Windows, Linux, and macOS. This role leads platform engineering, zero-day security responses, API integrations, and acts as the ultimate L3 escalation point for the operations team.

Architecture & Health: Own global BigFix infrastructure (Root Servers, Relays, DSA, CME, and SQL database performance). Lead upgrades, DR planning, and remote workforce management.

Content & Automation: Custom-author complex Fixlets and tasks using Relevance and Action Script. Automate workflows via BigFix REST API, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Integrations: Maintain platform integrations with ServiceNow (CMDB), Splunk, Qualys/Tenable, and Active Directory.

Security & Compliance: Partner with InfoSec for zero-day response, drive 95%+ patch compliance, and enforce standards against CIS/NIST/STIG frameworks.

L3 Escalation & Governance: Resolve complex agent and deployment failures, set SOPs, conduct code reviews, and mentor L1/L2 operators.
