The Senior Assistant Vice President will own end‑to‑end Application Managed Services (AMS) for exl Service.com (India) Private Limited, overseeing support, maintenance, enhancements, releases, and governance of enterprise‑wide applications. The role blends strategic client partnership, operational oversight, and technology innovation—leveraging AI/GenAI, RPA, cloud, DevOps, and intelligent automation—to modernize application portfolios, improve productivity, and drive profitable growth across a globally distributed delivery ecosystem.

Responsibilities

- Lead end‑to‑end AMS delivery, including support, maintenance, enhancements, releases, and service governance.
- Own SLA/KPI performance, incident/problem management, escalations, change/release management, and compliance.
- Manage large, cross‑functional, geographically distributed delivery teams.
- Drive AI/GenAI, RPA, cloud, DevOps, and intelligent automation initiatives to boost quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee account financials, resource/capacity planning, vendor relationships, and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain C‑suite and senior client relationships; lead governance reviews and identify growth opportunities.




- Champion application portfolio optimization, modernization, and continuous improvement using ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps practices.
- Ensure risk management and compliance across all service engagements.
- Report on service health, financial metrics, and transformation progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- 15+ years of IT delivery experience with senior leadership in AMS/application services.
- Proven track record managing enterprise‑scale application portfolios and global delivery teams.
- Hands‑on experience with platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle/SAP, Microsoft/Azure, AWS.
- Deep understanding of ITIL, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, cloud, AI/GenAI, and automation technologies.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
- Experience driving digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Robust analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with C‑suite executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
