Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Foodella Foods is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable oversight, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant prepares financial statements, monitors budgets, supports audits, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The role involves analyzing financial data to provide insights, supporting management with reports for decision-making,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations and procurement to maintain accurate cost and inventory records.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and cash flow management in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in spreadsheets and financial modeling tools.
- Knowledge of relevant tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes, with the ability to maintain robust internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with finance, operations, and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certification (such as CA, CPA, or CMA) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within the food, manufacturing, or consumer goods sector.
